SECTION 1.The right of citizens of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age.

Thesis Statement
The 26th Amendment, which allowed 18 year olds to vote in all elections, is very important to civil rights because the amendment allows a more diverse vote for elections, 18 year olds to happily serve in the military, and younger citizens to become more interested in elections and politics.
