Conclusion
The 26th Amendment, which allowed 18 year olds to vote in all elections, is very important to civil rights because the amendment allows a more diverse vote for elections, 18 year olds to happily serve in the military, and younger citizens to become more interested in elections and politics. The younger citizens of our country casted their vote which made a very quick impact. Once 18 year olds felt like they were a part of their country, they were now willing to fight for it. Eighteen year olds were now able to be involved in politics which is very important in our society. With this information and expert's opinions, it is evident that the 26th amendment was very important to the way America is governed.
